They also offer beautifully crafted, custom designed pieces. These one of a kind creations are made on-site in Devan's well-equipped on site workshop. Persaud Jewelers also offers various services including remounting and engraving.

Persaud Jewelers is all about customer service (they even have a lay-a-way plan). Devan can also repair platinum, gold, and silver jewelry. He says, "Bring in your old jewelry and see if I can make you something new." The business is family owned and operated.

Devan comes from a long line of jewelers. He says, "I am a third generation jeweler. My dad was a jeweler and so was my grandfather. It definitely runs in the family." Devan is a native of Guyana , South America . He came to the United States in 1986 and began practicing his trade in New York before moving to Atlanta . In Atlanta, Devan attended the Atlanta Jewelry Institute of Design where he studied under Master Jeweler Hanns Hendricks.

Devan, and his wife Carla, a native of Blairsville, opened Persaud Jewelers in Blairsville, GA on October 17, 2008.
